Before starting the assembly, the nut must be turned to the finger-tight position.
Fittings should not be disassembled before installation to maintain cleanliness and prevent unwanted foreign materials from entering the system.
Careful selection of the correct tubing also contributes to a safe and reliable installation.
Step 1
Insert the square-cut, deburred tube into the fitting until it bottoms out and tighten the nut by hand.
Step 2
Mark the initial position on the nut (e.g., "6 o'clock").
Step 3
Hold the fitting body with a wrench and tighten the nut 1-1/4 turns.
