This metal jacket fits spiral (SP) static mixers with a 3/8″ element diameter and 18 mixing elements, and it has a 7/8-9 thread. The jacket supports the plastic mixer housing from the outside.

A metal jacket is recommended for Nordson EFD 160 series mixers when the pressure inside the nozzle exceeds 150 psi.
